An Ethics Discussion for Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals

A five hour review of the CRC Code of Ethics and how the code defines our profession.

             The first session will include a discussion of codes and why we as professionals need a code.  Also, included is an overview of the CRCC Code of Ethics.

            In the second and third sessions we will explore the role of counselors with regard to value imposition and culture diversity in Vocational Rehabilitation.  Scenarios will be presented and participants will be encouraged to discuss experiences.

            The fourth session will include decision-making models that can be adapted for use in the field by professionals working directly with consumers.
