"Ethics for Rehabilitation Professionals"
June 4 - 7, 2018

Event Information

Registration Status: OPEN
Registration Ends: Tuesday, May 22, 2018

In this three hour webinar we will discuss how the CRCC Code of Ethics has been developed to provide a foundation for our profession. The class will be composed of three one hour sessions.  We believe that ethical behavior is possible only when we as a profession agree on what is ethics and what is ethical behavior for our profession. Consequently, we have developed this class with your participation in mind.

The first session is a discussion of ethics and why we as professionals need a code. It will include an overview of the CRCC Code of Ethics as well as an overview of ethical theories.

In the second session we will discuss; the role of the counselor, value imposition, and case management in Vocational Rehabilitation. Scenarios will be presented to guide the discussion.

The third session is a presentation of a decision-making model using scenarios demonstrating dilemmas that professions typically face when applying ethical principles.

This class will be presented in webinar format via Blackboard Collaborate.
