This class is comprised of five one hour webinars, we will discuss how the CRCC Code of Ethics provides foundation and boundaries for our professional life, and practice monitoring and building a personal code in our practice.
The first session is a discussion of the origins of ethics and it will include an overview of the CRCC Code of Ethics.
The second session will be a discussion of the ethical role of the vocational rehabilitation counselor. Scenarios will be presented for discussion.
The third session is a presentation of a decision-making model using scenarios demonstrating dilemmas that professions typically face when applying ethical principles.
The fourth and fifth sessions are planned to give you an opportunity to incorporate the information you have learned into your case work and practice the changes.
Objectives:
- Participants will learn how to apply the principles of the CRCC Code of Ethics in their work.
- Participants will learn how to use a decision-making model to solve dilemmas.
This webinar will be held with Collaborate Ultra.
